Why ETasks exists
Google Tasks is a dependable place for work that already lives beside Gmail and Google Calendar. ETasks keeps that source of truth and adds an interface designed around iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and compatible Apple silicon Macs.
That means planner views, widgets, persistent alarms, location reminders, shared lists, offline work, and the option to use the app entirely on-device without a Google account.
Small permission scope, clear choices
When you connect Google, ETasks requests only the Google Tasks permission needed to read and update task lists and tasks. It does not request access to Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Contacts, or other Google services.
You can disconnect at any time. Local mode works without a Google account. Location monitoring for place-based reminders happens on your device, and ETasks does not sell personal data or use it for advertising. Read the Privacy Policy for the full details.
