Does Google Tasks have location reminders on iPhone?
If you typed “Google Tasks location reminders,” “when I arrive Google Tasks,” or “Google Tasks geofence,” you are looking for the same thing Apple Reminders does well: an alert that fires when you get somewhere, not when a clock hits a time. Google Tasks does not offer that.

- Keep Google Tasks for work that belongs in Gmail and Calendar. Email follow-ups, meeting prep, and dated commitments stay where Google already shows them.
- Use Apple Reminders for place-triggered errands. Groceries, “when I leave the office,” and home chores that only matter on arrival fit Reminders better.
- Write the place in the task notes if you only need a cue, not an alert. After the Keep migration, location text in a description is a sticky note, not a trigger. Treat it that way.
- Prefer time-based urgency when the place is fixed and the clock is the real constraint. Medication, calls, and hard deadlines are usually time problems. For those, a quiet Calendar banner is easy to miss; a stronger on-device alert helps more than a fake geofence.
Duplicating every task into two apps is a chore. A lighter rule works better: location jobs in Reminders, Google-shaped jobs in Tasks.
